Mercy college FNP Dobbs ferry ny

Hi everyone, I would like to open a forum for the FNP program in mercy college for fall 2020 session. Dobbs ferry, NY. How do yall feel about this program, it is fairly new program. Mercy is a brilliant school. Can anyone who is currently attending this program please give us an understanding of the program?

I applied a week ago. Was contacted and they have opened up more spots for the fall. They're not accepting students for Spring 2021, I was told. 2021 was initially the semester I was aiming for.

I recently applied as well and received the same information. How do you feel about the program, being that it is fairly new?

I feel great about it. Mercy took over the College of New rochelle FNP program. So although new to mercy, the teachers and curriculum already have a track record of success.

Hi, I applied to the program but didn’t get in ?Did you get accepted?? I was hoping to start this Fall. Most other colleges I looked into are already closed so I’ve only applied to Mercy so far after hearing that they’re still accepting for Fall. Have you applied to any other schools??

I applied and got in. Look out for pace. Almost every one is going there. They may open for the Spring.

CONGRATS! I looked into Pace and saw on their website that they only accept every Fall. I guess I’ll check again. Thanks!

May I ask what your undergrad GPA was?? Mine was 3.1 and I have 7 years experience, so I thought I had an OK chance. But I did mention in my personal statement that I had wanted to get a post masters cert in acute care or ENP cert. Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned that since it’s an FNP program LOL ? oh well.
