Mercy College Accelerated weekend program 2022

Hello, 

Has anyone applied for the Mercy college accelerated second degree weekend program? I recently started my application and I would like to meet other students who have applied or are planning to apply. Also, students who are currently in the program and advice or tips on the program?

I haven’t even started. I tried, but it didn’t let me. I thought we were supposed to have an orientation session first?

OK, I haven't received any communication regarding an orientation, have you received anything? I was looking at the next steps in the dashboard which is to register, meet PACT Mentor, and complete the immunization. It says you can register for classes when you come to campus or when you speak with your admissions counselor. I reached out to mine to schedule an appointment and clarify the next steps. I should hear back from them today on it, I'll update here when I get more info.

The week that the deposit was due (May 5), I reached out to PR and I asked him what the next steps were. I was told that in a few weeks we should get an email with more information. I attempted to register but the system didn't allow me. But thank you!

I'm on the waitlist. I applied back on April 7th, but didn't hear about a decision until last Thursday. Not really sure what to think since the enrollment deposit deadline was a month ago..

I didn't get a number - I asked how many were on it, and when the deadline was for accepted folks to respond to their decision, but was told they're "not at liberty to say". 

Are you on the waitlist?/Do you have a number?

Yes, I am currently on the waitlist. I send PR an email asking him what number I am on the waitlist still waiting on his response. from other threads, I saw that people knew what number they were on the waitlist. I asked in this thread before emailing him. I assume he thinks I'm annoying because I'm constantly emailing him questions. Before I was waitlisted he had told me that by June 30th everyone that applied should know their status if accepted, waitlisted, or not accepted into the program.

Please don't get discouraged I saw in other threads students was getting accepted 3 weeks before the program started. I hope that doesn't happen to us because I work full time and want to give them time to find my replacement. I've been working there for 10 years, and I want to leave on good terms that way I can pick up a few days if I need to.

I feel the same - I'd been following up with him a few weeks because something on my application checklist wasn't marked as complete.

Keep us updated on if you get a number! I've seen other schools say they admit up to the first day of class, so still possible.

I got accepted into the nursing program.
