Merced College FA 2021/ SP 2022 Applicants

Who knows when the link will be available and how we should be preparing right now. Has anyone sent anything yet? TEAS scores, transcripts, other documents????

Sorry to hear that! Gonna hit the wait and apply to Fresno City next January.

Got mine too. Will be doing the same! Gonna wait and save some more money then apply to Fresno in January as well.

Hello. This is my first post here. I received my denial email as well. This was my second time applying. I felt that I had a pretty good chance. I'm on the older side of this...48. Thankfully, I took time during COVID to finish my degree in Gerontology online. So, next time I apply I can have a bachelors degree for points.

Although...Merced will continue to be my first choice since I have a family and it's close to home.

Sorry about your denial. I felt pretty positive of my chances too. I'm 38 so I'm definitely ready to be going but firmly believe in God's timing. Good luck to you next time.

@Nvr2L8 I’m 49 and was able to apply for the first time this round. Was denied the first round though.. I used my personal email and that alone disqualified me ?. I’m local to Merced too and so it was my first choice as well. So disappointed but I know Stan State is an option too. I was accepted there but waitlisted - I’ll try again next round.

I agree about God's timing. He does know that I'm impatient though.?

Got my denial letter sameday I got my acceptance into Madera LVN so just going to take the scenic route to RN but I accidentally purchase a set of RN ATI books. That I need to sell so I can get the PN ones instead. I posted on the Merced college used bookstore site on facebook if anyone who was accepted is interested.

Congrats on the LVN program! Were you one of the alternates? 
The orientation for Merced is near the end of this month so that’s probably when we will know what books we will need etc, so maybe someone will want to purchase them from you then if not sooner ?
