Merced College Applicants Fall 2019 Spring 2020

Hi everyone :) just noticed that they posted the day they are accepting applications on Merced's website! Who's applying? This will be my second try!

If your not on the super high points. Probably 96 & up, it doesn’t really matter how many you have. Merced college goes by lottery so you could have 70 or 90 and still only be chosen through the lottery.

They told me today I would find out my alternate number during the orientation, which is in two weeks. So fingers crossed my alternate number is #1. I believe they pick 20 alternates.

I believe on another post they said they got 90 points. But yes most of it is lottery.

I got accepted for Fall 2019! I have two choices now. Not sure where I will go. Anyone need a roommate?

I got accepted for Spring 2020! I'm still on cloud 9!! It was my 3rd time applying, I'm sorry for those who didn't get in, please keep trying!!! :( If my time came, I'm sure yours will too. I got flat out rejected the first 2 times, but I still kept trying!!

To all of those who also got accepted, I am beyond thrilled to meet all of you at orientation!! I hope we all become good friends!!

That is so amazing. You deserve it. I’m so happy for you. I wish I had gotten in on my 3rd try as well. ?

Congrats!!!!! I will be at orientation but as an alternate for spring 2020. I'm hoping that my alternate number is low so I can get in lol.
