Hi everyone :) just noticed that they posted the day they are accepting applications on Merced's website! Who's applying? This will be my second try!

Are you an alternate for Spring? I was accepted for Spring but will not enroll as I was accepted at Stanislaus too. Good luck!!

I'm an alternate for Spring so hopefully my number is low and I can take your spot. Congrats on the Stanislaus program!!

Congratulations to all. I can’t wait for that moment for myself. 3rd time applying and got denied again. I literally feel defeated. Like my dream of becoming a nurse is being crushed. I’m 30 years old already and I feel like my time is slipping off my hands. This is so sad. ?. Sorry guys. This just really hurts.

Fyi I'll be 37 in August. I'm not in but I'm trying to think positive.

I know and that’s good! It’s just hard to stay positive after getting rejected 3 times. It just feels like my time is never going to come

Next year we will be in 2 different lotteries if I dont get in this year I'm an alternate so I think it will give 3rd and 4th timers a better chance. Even though personally I think they should honor the 4th time automatic in til 2023 since it was on our catalogs and our applications in 2019.

Yeah I really think they should honor it one last year. They already announced it this year so it should be taking effect on 2021. It’s insane.
