Im looking to apply for Merced college's nursing program for this fall as well as other nursing schools in my area. I've been having trouble finding any reviews on here about their program! Has anyone here been in or applied to their nursing program? Any information you have is greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
I think it would be a good idea to make an appointment with an allied health counselor and have your official transcripts with you. you can also call the allied health building and speak with the secretary, they are all really helpful towards students who apply from different schools. :)
Thanks for your guidance. I've made an appointment with the counselor to get the form check off. Btw, if I've taken the teas test more than once, would I need to submit all of them? I know the only want the first attempt, which I meet the minimum score, but also ask to attach "other attempts" for past versions as well. Please advise.
Congratulations!!
i had a question! I saw on previous posts that your were number 3 back in August. I got called back in August that I was bumped up to number 4. Does that mean I'm number 1 alternate now? I would've thought that they would've called but they didn't?? I'm confused and nervous. I've been trying to get a hold of the program director.
I start Spring 2017 as well! We begin our journey next week!!!!1111 So excited lol
Congratulations!!

The only thing that makes sense to me is that alternates 1 & 2 probably gave up their spots because they got in elsewhere, or weren't able to accept because of life circumstances. We start Tuesday and it's not guaranteed everyone will show up so maybe ask how long into the semester they will keep you pending as an alternate? I wish you the very best and hope it all works out.
I wasn't thinking that cause I figured they would've called to decline their spot earlier on to let the next alternates know but yeah that makes sense. Maybe I wasn't notified because the semester starts Tuesday and she said everyone filled and turned in their paperwork but that there's always a possibility. I was just a bit bummed because I was so close. I'll just apply again in March.
