MEPN University of San Diego - Starting Class Fall 2009

I was also accepted to the program. I am not sure if I will accept though. I am still waiting to hear from UCLA.

I have heard excellent things about the program and the faculty and staff are so helpful. However, I am concerned about the cost.

Are you concerned about the cost of the program?

Hey congrats on this and/or if you get into UCLA...I'm getting a Reserve GI bill which will cover 20% or so and I've been saving like crazy for a few years to do this, but not everyone's situation is the same of course. The rest I'll take out in student loans.

I'm with you, the faculty looks to be great and the students already in the program that I met as well. Let me know what you end up doing!

Congrats on getting into USD. I am planning on applying to the school for 2010. Do you think you both could give me your academic profiles. Im not sure if my GRE score are good enough. Where did you both go to school. I graduated may 2008 form the University of San Francsico, also a jesuit school.

Hi, while I was accepted to USD, I chose UCLA.

My profile is: 3.97 gpa last 60 units, 3.3 gpa pre-req's, and HORRIBLE GRE scores (too bad to mention)

I was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa, working with people living with HIV/AIDS for almost two years.

I was accepted on the spot.

The school is awesome and I wish I could've gone there! It is really just too expensive for me.

I really appreciate your help and information. But the GRE is the main concern I have. What did you get? I did 460 verbal, 740 qua, and 4 writing. I need to know what chances I have because I was low in verbal and writing. Where did you go to undergrad? That is so amazing that you went to the peace corp! I hope one day to do something like that. How great!

I didnt know you need a GRE for the MSN programs...do all school require it?

Not all schools require it but if you want to apply to top schools, you will need to take them. I wasnt going to take them but now I am so glad that I did because the range of schools that I can apply to has opened up.
