Thought I would get this started...
Who is applying for UCSF MEPN Program currently?
They did something similar last year. This is quoted from last year's forum on the day that decisions were posted: "So I just called the admissions committee. The woman whom I spoke to said that the admissions committee just met yesterday, and that these things take time. She told me that we should expect to hear from them in MARCH!!!!. Well, I just about collapsed lol. I asked her if she knew when in March, and she said no. I don't know what to believe anymore. I just sent an email to SJ, the main contact person for UCSF MEPN, so hopefully we'll get some clarity with him. I just don't want to believe we have to wait even longer to hear back, especially since other schools have notified us already:banghead:"
I'm still holding on to hope that we get decisions today...
I could be WAY over thinking this but given my experience so far and the experiences of others on this site I would expect answers from that office to be vague. Meaning, in this case, that "by the end of the month" includes today so the answer is non-specific but also true. Here's to hoping!
i've been stalking this page for the past couple months unsure of what to say, but it has been really comforting to be reminded that there are others experiencing the craziness of applying to the MEPN program.
I was really hoping to hear the final decision today. I don't think it is very likely that I'll get in, as I've been rejected from the 4 other programs I applied to and UCSF is so competitive, especially the midwifery track. Since I'd be reapplying in only a few months, I am really anxious to get started on a plan to boost my chances for next year, but that tiny glimmer of hope has my brain (and stomach) in knots.
I hope we are all put out of our misery soon!

I assume we'll get an email letting us know the "status of our application has changed" once the notifications have been uploaded. There may be an entirely new page that gets linked within the application, or the current status tab may be revamped to reflect the new admission status. I just hope we find out today, my little OCD mind can't handle hitting the refresh button any longer.
