My mother graduated from Deaconess in 1949 or 1950. And, my wife is also a graduate of Deaconess. When they first met each other and started talking about the school they discovered that the menu hadn't changed in all those years. I don't recall the specifics but, seems they served something called "green gage plums" on a certain day, and on another they had brains on the menu. Just curious, do they still have that strange stuff in the student dining area? Or, have they run out of their 50 year supply of green gage plums?

Im a student at Deaconess. I promise you, there are NO brains on the menu. Our food plan is through the hospitals cafe.(not like that is much better than brains:) ). We actually get normal meals like hamburgers and nachos. I hope they dont dig up any of that old stuff, for my sake.
