Hey all! I'm about to start the accelerated program at OUHSC and I need to find a pair of men's white shoes. Does anyone know where I should look in the OKC area? Price is really no object when it comes to my feet. My priorities are comfort and good support. I saw a pair on a guy that looked pretty goofy, but if they fit well and feel good I will swallow my fashion sense.

Have you ever seen the free newspaper called "Nursing Times"? I pick it up at the grocery store. Anyway, they always have advertisements in there for a place called Ideal Feet. I know they've got a store in OKC. If you want to check it out, they've also got a coupon link on their website http://www.idealfeet.com/
Don't know anything about them besides that. Z-coils are supposed to be good too, but they definately look goofy. I wish I could try them, but they're out of my price range.

I know over in the men's forum they talk a lot about how they like their Nike Shox. Just an idea. I would try like Lana suggested Ideal Feet and maybe The Uniform Shoppe as starters. I know my friend John is starting NS with me in the fall and he got a pair of K Swiss that he said felt nice.
Speaking of the Uniform Shoppe...that Nursing Times newspaper also has a 20% off coupon in it that's good through May 31. There's coupons in there for another uniform place as well. Gotta love coupons! I had a 20% off from Uniform Shoppe last month and ended up saving almost $50 on my purchase of uniforms, shoes and supplies! (although I think their scrub prices are a little high to start with...)
I'll look for it, thanks! I need to get some shoes as well. I have lower back pain so I need something good.
