Memorial Hermann Summer 2016 Residency

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone out there applying to Memorial Hermann's Nurse Residency for Summer 2016!!

If my first choice hospital still says "applied" under the app but the hospital that I got a call from has nothing listed under the app, should I just assume rejection or anxiously wait to hear back? Several people on the thread have mentioned getting an email from my first choice...

Yeah you should be getting an email tomorrow then. Cause I got the call and behav assessment email and was told about match day on the phone. That invitation to match was sent several hours later after I completed the assessment and let them know.

The match email just gives info on arrival time etc so just look out for it during business hours I suppose

Both my choices still have applied under them. I've only got an email for a behavioral assessment so far!

So I did get my first choice? Because it was #2 that called.

So did anyone have to reschedule for match day? I cannot show up on the 22nd and notified them about it after I got the call. Please they me they work around our schedules. Hopefully this does not kill my chances.

How does everyone feel about the behavioral assessments? I feel that if you answer too honestly to some questions, then you probably will lose your chance of getting the job. I don't know...does anyone know what they look for on behavior assessments? I think its mostly about consistency. You get three of the same questions worded differently.

I have no idea how to feel about that assessment. I'm just going to hope for the best!! Some I had no clue how to best answer the question!

Does anyone know if there are diff locations for match day or are all of us going to the same location on the 22nd?

The Sugarland location was my first choice, and I applied a LONG time ago. Probably around the time they first posted the application, lol. Has anyone gotten any word about match day from Sugerland yet? I'm getting antsy, And my application status still say "applied"

I just got a call and was invited to Match Day. Children's was my first and second choice
