Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Program Fall 2021 Start Date

Hi Everyone! 

I'm starting this thread for those applying to both Houston, TX Memorial Hermann (All Locations) and Memorial Hermann Children's for the Fall 2021 Graduate Nurse (GN) Cohort. This cohort will be the student nurses graduating in Spring/Summer 2021. 

Please leave any information you may have about applications, interviews, calls, etc. in the thread! Also please say the campus/specialty (ICU, Peds, MedSurg, L&D, etc.) your applying/interviewing for! ?

I just asked if Peds had made a decision on their new hires and when we could expect to hear back one way or another because I have other opportunities that are also waiting on me to make a decision. I said I understand we have until July 2nd - but some type of communication would be helpful. Short and sweet and to the point. She has yet to respond as I am sure she is busy BUT if I will email again tmrw if I don't hear back!

I misread what she said. She announced it though a group chat. My bad y’all! She just said she got an offer from children’s memorial hermann.

Phew! So I’m guessing the pediatric units haven’t decided to make calls yet. I’m going on a trip this Friday I hope I don’t miss their call (if they do call LOL)

does anyone know if they call us regardless if we have an offer or not? or do we find out we’re rejected via workday or email

Someone in my cohort got an offer on the pediatric trauma unit .. not sure which one exactly but I asked her.
