Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Fall 2018

Hello guys,

I decided to start a thread for anyone who will be applying to Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Program for the fall so we can all communicate and share information. On their Facebook page they just announced the pre-match day event taking place on may 19th. Is anyone going?

I'm still waiting on TMC ER as well!

Oh good that makes me feel better lol. I'm assuming tomorrow we get an answer unless they just are not hiring anyone. Surely both of us wouldn't not get invited lol! Goodluck, let me know if you get anything :)

Did anyone else receive a phone call saying that all interviews for the general pediatric department at Children's Memorial Hermann have been canceled because they are not hiring any new graduates at this time. It was from a private phone number so I am a little iffy about how real it was but it sounded legitimate.

I am interviewing with pedi IMU not general peds but didn't get a phone call.

Yeah I did too. It was from a Matt Fehr, who I confirmed is indeed an talent recruiter from Memorial Hermann...wish they would have let us know sooner so that we could have picked different units...

Yeah it was not very professional of them and showed how unorganized they are. Very disappointed with this.

Did they do the physical/blood Work the day of match day, or at a future date??

I'm late finding this thread, but I interviewed for TMC HVI for the CCU on Monday. I asked how many positions they have available and they have 1 new grad position in the CCU and about 6 more in the other HVI units.

Over 60 applicants and 24 were chosen to interview. Just in case anyone was wondering!

No not yet. Did they give you a time frame? All they told me was that they were gunna review and the recruiter would get back to us
