Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Fall 2018

Hello guys,

I decided to start a thread for anyone who will be applying to Memorial Hermann Nurse Residency Program for the fall so we can all communicate and share information. On their Facebook page they just announced the pre-match day event taking place on may 19th. Is anyone going?

I received an email for match day as well! I am coming from California, and have no idea what to expect! Do people normally bring portfolios to these?

That's a good question! The email I got didn't say. I just got a time. So I'm wondering if I just show up that time or get there early since I've read that match day is an all day thing. Unless they are doing it different this time with time slots. I'm flying in from Florida.

Thank you. It's the Heart and Vascular Institute. There are different units that falls under it such as CCU, CIMU, Cardiac Telemetry Etc

My email says for 1PM on the 26th & I will have one, thirty minute interview with the Medicine Service Line.

Did yours says something similar?

I think the different units must communicate different information. Mine said to arrive 30 minutes early and that I would have 2 20 minute interviews on match day. I would suggest arriving at least 30 minutes early to collect your thoughts, bring extra resumes, and maybe a copy of your transcript. Best of luck to everyone!

The email didn't say how long but said the same thing about the service line interview. Which unit did you apply for?
