Hi guys,

MH's application opened up today! Anyone else apply?

Also, did anyone attach a transcript? On the general page it said to but on the actually application it only said resume(mandatory), and optional cover letter and letters of rec?

I just read some other responses, and it seems I had a very similar situation. I felt my interview was short. Scheduled for 1300, and I arrived around 1250. We started right away and finished about 1310, so roughly 20 minutes. That seems to be the norm for everyone else here.

So now I nervously await an email right? I wasn't given the contact info of any of the interviewers, so I can't send a thank you email.

I applied to Med/Surg at The Woodlands. I see you all applied throughout the city.

Now I have to focus on graduating and passing NCLEX!

I interviewed for the same! Hope we both get it! I’m like dwelling on a answer I didn’t do correctly and now thinking of ways I could’ve answered it ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ So scared! Scary times for us hope we got this! Did they say anything about when you would hear back?

No, no indication of when they contact. What question are you worried about? I was worried it was short. I always hate the extreme questions, when did done go badly and then when did something go well? The 5 year plan question we just covered in class.

Yeah I felt like it was super short! And nice I didn’t have any prep with it, but it was a question on something with a situation on how to keep your patient family happy but other tough patients! And I could’ve given some work experience but I just focused on nursing things so hope it works! 5 year plan I felt like I stated it Earlier so it threw me off when they said it again. Oh well can’t do much now! I keep checking my email but online it says it could take up to a month!! IDK if it will really take that long tho!

Yeah, I have PTSD like symptoms to my phone making any notifications sounds. haha I haven't checked the website, not sure it will do any good. Oh I had a question similar, I think they were assessing prioritization.

I hope they get back to me soon. I've accepted a teaching position for the Fall semester, if I'm moving back to Houston I need to let know I can't teach.

Hope we all get our positions, we'll have to go to one of the favorite spots for our favorite beverage. haha

Don’t think you can/should for a residency position! It’s always set ahead of time for all hospitals. I don’t know anyone that has negotiated their pay as a new grad!

I got an offer for the Sarofim Heart IMU about 30 minutes ago! It wasn't my top choice but thankful regardless! They said they would email or call about the official details later. I would keep an eye out for an email from the recruiter.
