Hi everyone, I wanted to open a discussion for those that applied to the November 2021 Nurse Residency Program for Memorial Healthcare System just to keep everyone involved and informed if there are updates between applicants. I also thought it would be nice to connect with others who have the same interests or applied to the same units.

Thank you... I’ve heard this from another person, too. I think I will go for the surgical services position at memorial then.

Yes go for memorial my friend works there and they start her at 32 plus night shift differential $5 more

Thank you.  Do you think I’d be able to transfer to my preferred unit within Memorial’s system after a year? Or will I have to wait two years... thanks.

You should be able to they have the fellowship program for experienced nurses who have 1 year expect  and since you are working with them you will have a great chance to get into your preferred specialty

Thank you, because I think memorial requires a two year commitment. I could do one year with their offered field then transfer to my preferred field. Hopefully

Medsurg / tele is actually $30 + $5 for night + $3 for weekend
