Dianah sounds like a great service

Stars hopefully the antibiotics will prove helpful

NJ22 it has been wet and cooler than normal here too

Ado I wouldn't feel bad about not going

Had a nice visit with my aunt.  Sat we drove to a state park which supposedly had a good restaurant.  It was closed so we went to another park, the restaurant there was open but had gone downhill from what I remembered the last time we were there.  I hung out with her most of the day and took her out to dinner

Sun morning given the storms expected I left the hotel early.  Got through most of the drive with only moderate rain, but hit heavy storms as I got closer to home and at one point had to pull over for a few minutes.  Rest of the day pretty quiet,  unpacked, worked on this weeks' shopping list, and rode my bike

For Memorial Day going to head out bird watching, might be very wet given all the rain.  Then going to do some cooking for the week.  Not much else planned, weather should be good until the evening

Going to be a bit cooler than usual, low to mid 70s

Hello all!

Thanks for the info about your trip, Joe.  Sounds nice, and I'm sure your aunt enjoyed the visit.

Yesterday we attended a car show nearby.  Friends had two of their Road Runners out for display, and we enjoyed chatting with them and then walking around to see ALLLLLLLLLLL the cars on display.  Some VERY cool ones!  Actually, they were ALL cool!!  Looked like over 200 cars there!  Our friends said they were up at 4am, to be at the "gate" by 5am!!  The show went till 6pm.

When we got home I cooked a crustless quiche and some "Mexican Red Lentil Stew."  We had some of the stew for dinner, it was good!  I had to purchase some green tabasco sauce specially for it.  We will have the quiche and the rest of the stew later in the week.

Thinking of our veterans on today's Memorial Day.

Have a good day!

Joe, that sounds like a nice visit. Although that weather Sounds crazy. I've only experienced a few Storms that heavy.
Dianah, we saw an amazing car show in Pomona one year at the drag race championships. Truly works of art and love.
Just got back from a long walk at a local park. Passed lots of walkers. I'm already up to 16000 steps today. We stopped at a local donut shop, nom nom.

Sorry for all the typos. On my phone.

G'day.

We really could use some rain around these parts.  We're anxiously awaiting our rainy season.

Looks like my doc is going to make me come in every three months since I'm on a benzo.  My old doc made it six months since a three month script was lasting me six month.  She only does scripts for 30 days at a time.  Ugh....

I worked the floor today and didn't get an admission to my empty bed.  My coworker did at shift change the beginning of the shift but not me.  About time I had a decent day.  Was still busy though.  Was an overtime shift.  The last of the overtime.  whew

Tweety~ You didn't get an admission to your empty bed all shift? I did a "HUH?" double-take when I read that! Is it due to a blue moon? I can't recall the last time I ever heard you mention such thing!

It's been a quiet day. 80's, no rain.

Nannie spent literally an hour and 45 minutes readjusting her sleeves ... a turtleneck and a jacket. (because she is 'always' cold.) She had to make sure both cuffs of the jersey came out from the jacket-sleeve cuffs at exactly the same length. Then she was comparing the colors in her jacket to her jersey and the color of her shoes. She kept straightening the front of the jacket with the buttons. Over and Over and Over! She was perfectly content to be fiddling with her clothes and admiring them. And she was QUIET the WHOLE TIME!

Going to bed with Momo; time to relax!
