  1. Have you taken Organic Chemistry Online?

I wouldn't recommend taking Ochem online. It is a DFW class. This means that over 40% of the class will make a D, fail, or withdraw from the class. Online classes often do not transfer either, if that will be an issue.
  2. In need of advice for RN prequisites...

I would take bio, chem, micro, a&p. These are generally universial pre reqs to nursing school, however, as stated above these classes may not transfer depending on where they are taken. But those are your basic science pre reqs for nursing scho...
  3. Horrible Professor!

I mostly know nothing, but ill be the first to admit it.
  4. Horrible Professor!

It is what it is. I don't have anything against nursing. I've stated on other threads and ill state it again; my mother is a nurse, my sister is a nurse, and her husband is a nurse. My ex was a nurse, my gf's aunt is a nurse and I have many friend...
  5. Horrible Professor!

So what is your point? And no I'm not a nurse.
  6. Horrible Professor!

That's just fine and dandy, point being it isn't a nursing school pre req. So it would be pointless to do so if ones intention is nursing school. Unless one plainly enjoyed the intellectual challenge, but if that's the case, get a STEM degree.
  7. Horrible Professor!

Ah that explains everything. "For health professionals", I should have known better. So its not real biochemistry. Well that makes perfect sense then.
  8. Horrible Professor!

Also note, integral calculs is a pre req to bio chem...I assume you all took calc I and calc II as well?
  9. Corporate "doesn't believe in" Nurses Week

If you get good service you should leave a good tip, telling them they did a good job is not important. That's right, they are doing their job and should get paid accordingly.
  10. Help! How do I pass general chem?

I would recommend reading the book and highlighting what you think might be test material. Other than that, pay attention in class and be sure to study daily. Study groups and tutors are great sometimes, but they can also be distracting. I've alwa...
  11. Horrible Professor!

I suppose so, I've had situations where it appeared as if the exams were unfair, but upon further investigation I've always found the answers were in the literature. But maybe I am a rare case.
  12. Horrible Professor!

I just have a hard time believing that professors are putting material on exams that students have no access to. I've never had this happen to me, and I think the professor could get in trouble for doing that as the exams are supposed to be covering...
  13. Horrible Professor!

I should be ignored because I studied physics and math? If anything I think that my comments merritt some credibility when refeting to the sciences
  14. Horrible Professor!

Its either taught in lecture or its in the text...that's what I meant when I said its not complicated.
  15. Horrible Professor!

You obviously weren't thorough enough then. Gen chem is basic math and basic chemistry concepts. Any information you need is in the book. It is not complicated.
