About superfunnygirl

superfunnygirl has 13 years experience and specializes in OB/GYN (office), DD/ID.

I have been an LPN for 13 years. Besides a year or so of working in LTC right after receiving my license, I have split my time as a nurse evenly between OB/GYN office nursing and DD/ID nursing. I love both areas of nursing, but DD/ID is what I was born to do (corny, I know lol). I was support staff in a group home all through college and became a group home manager after graduating. What's crazy is that I knew all along I should have gone into the nursing program from jump street, I have no clue what I thought I would do with a psych degree as I really had no desire for obtaining an advanced degree. After beating myself up for not going to nursing school from the beginning, I left my job I loved as a group home manager and went to nursing school. I am currently a nurse for DD/ID adults in a group home setting and I am positive that my experience as support staff/manager makes me so much better at my job. On a personal level, I am a big goofball with a twisted sense of humor. I have three dogs, a cat and a Uromastyx (lizard), yes, I love animals with a passion. I also love horror movies, books and TV shows.
