   It shouldn't take any longer than 2-3 weeks. They do a background check, and if yours is ok, it will come through the mail. Then you go on the website and pick your test date and center.

   What state is this in? I would sit on hold all day just to make sure that they received the necessary paperwork. The US postal service is not 100% reliable all the time. You should call and make sure they even received the information!!!!

    Well, there are 4 big hospitals in this area.... kinda hard to get them on board with our facility and our policy. It happened last night, and the patient ended up getting Vicodin instead. Still think it's crap though. Thanks for the suggestion!

    LTC facilities need more nurses like YOU! I also, work in a SNF/ALF... I feel the same way about the residents as you do. Can't imagine when the day comes when one of my "favorites" expires! I can't imagine working in any other place right now......
