   We have the same policy at our hospital. Ofcourse most of the time there is no hospital provided lotion(which the stuff is terrible and leaves your hands drier it seems)...so ....you do what you have to, to keep your skin intact and with so much hand...

   I work the ER and Yes I watch ER, love ER, as a matter of fact just got off a 12 hr night shift from HELL and, came home and watched ER(taped ofcourse) and boohooed all the way through it..The episode was "The Letter" which tells of Mark Greene dying...
