Thank you for your reply. I think I'll take your advice and just leave it blank.
I'm re-entering the nursing field after a long break. I'm going to be
contacting agencies and facilities soon.
I need advice on what to put in the expected salary range part of the application. Last time I worked, (I'm an LPN) I made in the 11-14 dollar range (that was 8 years ago.) What can I expect now?
I realize that I will make less than someone with current expirence, but don't
want to settle for much, much less!
Please help! Thanks in advance.
edited to add that I am 40 miles outside of Nashville and will be seeking employment in the Nashville area. Thanks again!
I've been an LPN since 91, but the last 8 or so I've been inactive.
I'm returning to practice soon and need some advice as to which text to get to help jog my memory!
I've come across
Textbook of Basic Nursing, Eighth Edition
Mary T. Kowalski (Editor), Caroline Bunker Rosdahl, Mary T. Kowalski, Caroline Bunker Rosdahl (Editor)
that looks good to me for a review, but wanted to know what you all are using. Do you have a separate pharmacology text? I was going to get a current drug handbook to familiarize myself with all the new medications.
Any suggestions on books or other study helps would be must appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
I'm working towards activating my LPN license after a break of 7 years.
In my state (Tennessee) I can take 35 hours of CE credits to achieve this.
I just took a pharmacology CE course today and only scored 50%!
Can someone please recommend a good book or course online that covers todays medicines?
Thanks in advance.
