Hi, I have just excepted an assignment in Seattle at Swedish Medical Center. Do anyone know about public transportation in Seattle. Also I am going to live in an rv, Any good campground ideas. Many places don't let you stay for 3 months and then they charge by the night. I would appreciate any input. Thanks:spin:

Haven't traveled for almost 7 years. Am contemplating a return. Don't want to do the extensive move every thirteen weeks thing I did in 1990's and am thinking I want to purchase a "Toy Hauler" to bring my garage and toy's with me. I know the price of fuel will almost equal the cost of the vehicle per year but I just remember how much I hated to pack and unpack with every new assignment. I know some who travel with a suitcase, a plate, fork, spoon and some bed linens but I just can't. I even shipped my Kitchen stuff to Hawaii when I did that assignment. What's it like out there now?
Hi, I just purchased a rv last week and I am planning on taking it to an assignment in Seattle. I like the idea of my own housing. I don't think I will come out ahead on cost though. Spots in an rv park aren't cheap. Hopefully it will work out. I have heard of others traveling with an rv and they like it.

    HEy all!!
I will be traveling alone, and FAR away from home, so any advice on how to beat the lonlies will help!! Thanks!!!
I just finished my first travel assignment. I was alone for about 1/2 of the assignment. I had no trouble keeping busy. Everyday that you are not working is like your on vacation. Go exploring, you may never see that area again. Just remember to stay safe. Staff was very friendly but they already had there circle of friends away from work.

Hi Is it common for a hospital to float a traveler every 4 hours per shift to another area of the hospital? Is this a common practice? I have interviewed in Duluth, Mn Icu. The manager says that it common practice, I would work where the need is. I think this would be a very stressful assignment. I am interested in feedback.
