    Not all ER's are as busy as yours. The day that I received my patient, that was actively dying, the ER only had 3 patients. The ER nurse dropped my patient off and he had a RR of 45 rpm.

    thanks for clarifying this for us. I am surprised at the number of nurses that I work with that do not know Act 102.

    "may" is the part where the overtime was "volunteer". If the overtime is "mandated", they are required to give you 10 hours between shift. I hope this clears this up for you.

    The people that think this is just a little mistake are the ones that need to be watched very carefully when wasting medications. Just saying.

    That might be smart advise because if she is not allowed into the program, d/t a positive result, she may have to divulge that when she applies to another program. If she drops out now, she won't have to say anything about taking illegal drugs.
