Hey everyone,
I'm moving from Perth to Melbourne in a few days and I'm planning on signing up with a nursing agency (which Ive never done before). The only problem is I don't know which one to go for? They all claim to be the 'best' agency in melbourne!
I'm looking for full time work in hospitals all close to the city/on the tram line.
Can anybody help or recommend a good agency?
THANKS :heartbeat:nurse:

Hon we have the most extensive tram network in the world. more than just one tram line!! :)
Just sign up with one of the bigger ones I'd say. Melbourne nursing agency or alpha or nursing australia. I get all of those staff regularly. If you want something in one hospital why don't you join the pool or bank team at a hospital?

haha thats ok i know, i just meant it areas where the tram stops :)
I'm thinking agency work to begin with just to get a feel for different places. Have an interview with Melbourne Nursing Agency soon but I just wanted to see if there were any that were highly recommended. They all seem to be roughly the same I think! we shall see :)
Thanks!:heartbeat

Just stick to the bigger, more reputable nursing agencies and you should be fine.
Yeah all much of a muchness. If you are not getting a lot of work you can always sign up with another one as well. There is tram stops outside most of the big hospitals as they have been there a while, The bus network and train network is pretty good as well. Just look up metlink journey planner on the web. think its got an iPhone app as well. Never know you could be on my ward some day!
