Meg Whitman addresses the CA nursing shortage

That video is "why I am voting for Jerry" in a nice neat little package! :) I'm not sure anyone can rescue the state at this point, but I do know that Jerry (@JerryBrown2010 on Twitter) has actually thought through his positions on issues, is innovative and not a mindless repeater of talking points. I was a supporter of Jerry Brown for Pres back in 1992 when we lived in Colorado, and attended one of his rallies at CU. I'm not a doctrinaire liberal by any stretch, either. I like imagination and the ability to reevaluate prior positions on issues not because you did a "flip-flop", but grew as a person and as a politician.
Just the fact that Meg's stupid truthfornurses.com website is still up and running despite many of us writing in to "Talk to Meg" is quite emblematic of her shortcomings overall. Worst GOP candidate for governor ever.

The great thing about Jerry is that he's not portraying himself as a rescuer; he's very much a realist and he's been a good financial steward of our resources. Brown's running on his record of accomplishment and it speaks well to his experience, integrity, and demonstrated competency. He's a man of the people and he shares our values of caring, compassion, and community. He understands the role of government is to improve the lives of all who live here.

And, let's face it; if you're a nurse and your patient is critical, you're not going to be calling in the CEO to help you push meds and pump blood--you're going to call in the most experienced nurse available. That's why I'd for Jerry Brown. He's got what it takes to lead the state at this critical time.

Whitman's just plain out of touch with the working class and can't be trusted; Schwarzenegger in a dress. After she pushed and shoved her employee, and then tried to buy her silence with a payout, Whitman claimed her abusive actions were due to the stressful environment. Like nurses don't know stress and how mature people deal with stress? And, that so-called RN listed on her website...try looking for her name on the BRN website in California...it's not there. I believe that's against the law, to put RN after the name of someone who isn't!
