World Registration

Published

hello,

I have a tourist visa which is valid for one year. Im so fortunate to have experience in Philippines and Singapore as well.

can anyone here please guide me on how to apply for bridging program in ETEA sydney campus? i emailed the institution 2 days ago asking for some queries but did not receive any response..

thank you...

Hi everyone!

If u dont mind I have a question. My cousin, as I have said is applying me for ahpra registration. And currently, I am applying for NMC UK registration too and I am waiting for a work in a hospital in UK God willing. My contract with the said hospital is 3 years. Do you have any idea how long is the waiting time AHPRA might give their official response? and as what you have said, their referral letters to bp schools will only be effective 1 year. what if by the time that it arrives I am still tied to my UK contract, what do you think will happen, do I need to pay the fees again for re assessment? Thank you for your assistance and for hearing me out. If you wish to help me out you can reply here or much better email me at this ad, [email protected]. Thanks!

Hi lloydsabijon!

First, you must decide on which country to choose. Do you really want to be in uk or oz?

As for most people who lodged their applications in the past months, ahpra sent our loe in less than a month or two. And their offer letter as you have said is valid for a year. I'm not sure if they can give extension up to 3 years.

you have to make up your mind. Cos if you're going to pursue your career in the UK, in my opinion, you must delay your ahpra application first and then apply before your work contract expires.

Good luck! :)

Thank you so much DeaGo! :'(

Thanks for your response. I will make up my mind with this matter. I will just pray for whatever God will be giving me.. whether the UK or Oz road.. I have already raised this issue with my cousin though. Since she will be the one who will pay for the registration in my behalf. She said she is expecting for the referral letter to be given a year long wait. I guess whatever happens God will be working on it. She said that it is good that while I process my application in Uk, my Australian processing can also take place. And this is the only time she offered help for me, so I guess I will just grab this opportunity and good deed she is extending to me. I guess I will still pursue my UK dream since I have invested so much already with this journey. God let me pass IELTS and I even retook it for UKVI purposes so I guess I will just let God do this and I will just do my part.

Thank you for taking time to read this and for the people here who posts so many things that help a lot of nurses out there! Godspeed!

Good luck to whichever path you will be choosing! I pray for everyone's success! :)

Hi ikris! Congratulations to you as well! :)

intakes for la trobe are jan and june. I've also attended an orientation from a representative of their school. They offer accommodation with meals and wifi @ $275/wk. i have no idea tho on how they handle their iron program. But their campus is big and it looks appealing. Hehe

lonsdale offers intakes every month and i have a friend who have undergone their iron program. She said her instructors were really nice. Tuition and accom with internet cost is around $18500.

monash- i agree. I am also having problems with online learning. I have tried that when i was in college and i hardly stay awake during the lessons. Hehe.

me and my friend need to make up our minds by next week. I think it's between la trobe and Lonsdale. We're thinking of undergoing their program on January. What about you? :)

Hi deago! Have you decided which school you will enroll to? Will you pursue La Trobe or Lonsdale? Btw, did you get the refund?

Hi ikris!

i have received my offer letter from lonsdale yesterday. And i will be paying the tuition fee soon. So, Lonsdale it is! :) Hopefully, I'll be joining their Feb intake. There's no intake on Jan.

what about you? Uhm, what refund?

Hello All,

Is it possible to get the full assessment with ANMAC completed before I start the bridging course?

Hello All,

Yes but it is a totally different process for nurses who are already registered in Au (thru a bridging program) vs. being an internationally qualified nurse.

How much is the tuition fee in Lonsdale? I might go to La Trobe since they have Jan intake. :)

In the AGOS 40, it states there that there is a 150AUD refund if the application did not proceed to registration...

Lonsdale's tuition fee is 13000 aud. Accommodation for the whole program is offered at 5500aud.

I have to check on that refund tho. Did you get yours?
