Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

World Registration

Published

Hi guys, anyone here who has an idea regarding monash iron BP if they have clinical placement in adelaide?

Thank you so much.

My RO told me that after the Board assessment, they will then give the letter after 6 weeks. For those who already have their LOE, do AHPRA follow the time frame they gave to you? Thanks

Fellow pinoy rn's, i got my philippine rn registration 2010, worked as a renal nurse for 3years2months after and simultaneously took anual postgraduate courses/trainings thru NKTI ('10,'11,'12,'13) which i was awarded a total of 80 CPE/CME units in total. I came to oz thru a student visa and studied certificate3&4 in geriatric care. i would need a prompt response with regards to:

a. Qualifications- do i need to write it according to recency cert4, cert3, postgrad, bachelor?

or according to highest level of attainment- postgrad, bachelor, cert4, cert3

which would be better?

b. Validation of school Accreditation and pharma, theyre for different criteria, but can my school just send it as one envelope? Which will save me half since im still the one paying for it?

c. I understood that as per the latest ahpra communication(ph and india to do bp), are there anybody, or have u known Anyone who was allowed not to take bp after this communication (feb2015).

d. Ill be applying next week, can u give me the latest timeline of application with the new ahpra rules?

Also, do i arrange my application attachments (all certified by JP) according to AGOS40 or according to criteria 1-8? Or can anyone give me the best arrangement of the attachments?

with regards to the question... Do you commit to have appropriate professional indemnity insurance arrangements in place for all practice undertaken during the registration period?? is it yes or no? ... #16 of AGOS 40 application form.. thanks..

Pls put yes, or else theyll not accpt u to the board ms_cog86 we wer covered in phils thru sss, pagibig philhealth, my centre is also enlisted under philhealth for benefit claims. Thats our version of it. Here in oz, they pay it separately thru the nurses professional indemnity insurance.

also, when r u applying? U here in oz or in the philippines?

Can u give me ur insight also for #5595, #5596 thanks

thanks elking.. i have another problem as to where to certify my documents.. i am here in manila, philippines and dont know where to go for notary public that's cheap and knows also the AHPRA standard for certfying documents.

does it needs to be notarized by page or by document? thanks...

A notary public is the best person to certify ur docs in phils...it may cost u something per page. but u can do~ for the course outline, pharma (medication return demos, pharma course syllabus), and other school related certificates you can have ur school registrar stamp it and certify them as true copies of the original, yes, every page of it. Also check with ahpra/agos40 for the link regarding certifying documents.

may u also give me ur insight for my previous posts? Haha tnx

Guys, i need your advice... where should I do my medical exam? I mean which one is better nationwide or st. Lukes. ?thanks in advance. ..need answers asap...

Thanks. I've entered it as 1 word yesterday!huhu! How can I contact AFP and ask them to change it?huhu!

What WWC? regarding BUPA health insurance, I was asked about the start and end dates of my visa..so there will be an automatic charge monthly for 1 year? can we cancel it whenever we need to exit Australia? When is your flight?

Thanks..

Hello Ayanami! What is your email address? so I can contact you.

I think we can cancel the Health Insurance it when we need to exit Australia. :)

WWC is Working with Children Check. I googled the application form and I applied for it. But I think you need to be in Australia to complete it, so I already informed IHNA that I will pass an application again once I arrive in Au.

My flight is on May 7. How bout you? Are you going to stay at IHNA's accommodation?

By the way, do you still have your baby record? regarding BCG, what evidence do you have?

I still have my baby record. And the BCG vaccine is the only vaccine that matters in my Baby Record Book. The rest of the immunizations, like Hepa B, DTap, MMR, Varicella, and Meningoccal, I asked for shots again. So costly.
