Hello Everyone!

I would like to invite everyone who applied to the upcoming MS WHC RN program, or who applied to a previous residency program to post here.

For those who previously applied and interviewed, do you have any interview tips?

For those who applied to the upcoming program, what units did you select? Do you have any previous RN or CNA experience?

I'm finishing up an accelerated BSN program, and I don't have any previous experience (I haven't had the time!). I selected the stroke unit and the ER as my top choices, but I also told them that I would be open to other units.

This will be my first interview for an RN position, so I am nervous! :nailbiting:

Specializes in Adult Psychiatry, Correctional/Forensic Psychiatry.

I got an offer! The unit manager called me last night. Hopefully everyone else gets good news, too. :)

I interviewed on the 16th at 1:30 PM, got my offer letter at 3:00 PM the same day! :yes:

I interviewed on the same day at a different unit. They told me to wait a week or two.😩😩

The interview was intense, all technical. I thought I did well. They told me my resume was impressive. They said they just hired 8 new grads, and not planning on hiring for July (why interviewed me? I had to book a flight just a day ago and paid the high price. Maybe the recruiter begged them since I am from out of state?), so the process will take a little longer (finding a spot for me? Positive thinking).
