Does anyone know if Medscape is an approved provider of ANCC continuing education credits? I went to ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center)website but could not find Medscape listed. Medscape claims to be an approved provider. Does anyone have a link to show that they are. Thanks

medscape ce approval comes from varing groups that wrote article and ce activity. see box to top right side of article who is offering ce credit " ce[color=#004c88] information" most ce presenters are ancc approved.
medscape is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the new york state nurses association, an accredited approver by the american nurses credentialing center's commission on accreditation.
this approval is found under nysna rather than ancc.

Thanks a lot! I love Medscape but, did not want to waste time to do CE's that would not be accepted.

Thanks so much for info about Medscape. What a great resource. I can't believe I didn't know about it before. I graduate in May and it will be an excellent place to study during my final month! :monkeydance:
