What do you think are the 50 most commonly used meds that every nursing student should know?

Haha....although I may seem to have a lot of time on my hands...I don't have that much. Try the search function, I have seen many threads started on this exact same topic with numerous results.

sweet, i'm in level 2 (out of 4) and just about everyone of those drugs look familiar. Reglan seems to be a favorite on the peds floor.

Great list, even tho demerol is on there twice, you obviously put some time into it, we'll let it slide ;)

Good list! A couple I can think of off-hand that show up a lot for me are: Heparin, Colace, Trazodone and Dimenhydrinate. I don't think those were on the list but I may have overlooked them

add zofran, benadryl, and epinephrine

zofran definitely, also dilantin (usually med of choice for seizures; epilepsy, tonic-clonic etc)
