Medical Terminology Online

Published

I want to take a Medical Terminology class but it is only available online. I have never taken a class online and other than 4 years of Latin in H. School and A&P I, I have no medical background lol.

Any experiences? Do you think it is better to do it in a classroom setting?

I am still waiting for a reply from my teacher as to what expect in this class.

Thanks :)

I'm taking my first class online right now - US History, 1877-Present. I was nervous about it, but I actually really like the format and the fact that I can work on it whenever I want to. (I'm taking that class and A&P, my first classes since 1997) There are still deadlines, things that have to be done by a certain time, and for my class, we're required to participate in a message board style discussion for certain questions about the material every week. I'm planning on taking Medical Terminology online Summer semester. If it runs anything like my history class, I'll be thrilled. :D

I took Pyschology on-line spring semester 05. I loved it! We also had deadlines for homework and tests and we had to answer 2 questions on the boards for each unit. I loved the flexability. As long as you don't wait to the last moment to do your reading and homework you will do fine. I wish I could take more classes on-line!

Good Luck :)

I've taken 12 s.h. of classes online so far. I prefer it to the traditional setting. You'll be fine as long as you follow the instructor's format for submitting assignments and get everything in on time.
