Medical-Surgical Textbook for Nurse with <1yr experience

Published

Hello! This is my first post, hopefully I am doing this correctly. I am working on surgical unit but we have overflow from all over the hospital. I am realizing I forgetting things from nursing school and want to revisit areas. I did not purchase a medical surgical book in nursing school for the Professor only had PowerPoints. I am looking for suggestions on the best book to purchase, mainly explaining everything down to the cellular level but also very basic. I want to stay away from Pathop books for I have one already. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

The Lippincott Manual of Nursing Practice?

That's the first book that comes to mind.

Many units that I've worked on have had a

copy of it on hand.
