i don't know about specifically medical spanish, but i've been playing around with the doulingo app on my phone and computer for a while now and it's a lot of fun and free! Another resource and a little more interactive with people is livemocha.com - you can chat converse with native speakers (who understand you're learning and want to help you learn) and also has other interesting features like reading / editing documents
I purchased this book: Spanish for the School Nurse's Office
The content is helpful but I don't like the way it's formatted, it's not very intuitive, you kind of have to look in multiple places before finding what you need.

Does anyone have a good resource for learning medical spanish that is inexpensive or free? I'd like to at least brush up over the summer while I have the chance.
Currently I don't have any Spanish speaking only kids in my school, but the population in the area is growing and I know it won't be that way for long. And I DO have parents that speak only spanish, so It would be so helpful to be able to communicate with them. I SHOULD know more spanish... I took four years of it in high school. Not to mention the fact that I'm half Mexican! I just never got fluent, so I feel like I've lost most of it.
Anyway, anyone's advice would be appreciated.
