Hi! This is a thread for those who applied to Medical City Nurse Residency February 2023! Has anyone heard back from the recruiters? Good luck to us all!

When I first started working for medical city, I had to do preboarding. I think that was the background check, drug screen, setting up direct deposit, W4, etc. once you’re done with that you do “onboarding” which I think was mostly a bunch of videos and information. I wonder if I’ll have to do all that again. I’m still waiting for my official offer letter from the Arlington recruiter. She was supposed to send them last week but I haven’t received mine yet.

Have you received your “official offer letter” or preboarding information from the Arlington recruiter yet? I got hired there as well and have received nothing but the bonus details and an email weeks ago saying my official offer letter would be sent that same week. Getting kinda nervous over here.

Yes I got it last week! Maybe ask your recruiter about it?

Good to know! Someone else in my program said she did too but it went to her work email since she works for med city already. I just worked on the 11th and didn’t see it but I’m going to work in the morning to check mine again. I sent the recruiter an email yesterday and haven’t heard back. I guess if I don’t have the email I’ll try calling tomorrow ?
Hey nurses! I graduate in may but of course apps start well before that. I was wondering if you all could answer a few questions for me.
1. When applying can you essentially apply once but it goes to all locations and they then reach out for an interview?
2. What is the base pay for the residency program?
3. What is the night and weekend differential?
im trying to weigh my options and without pay transparency on the sites is kind of challenging.
