Medical City Nurse Internship July 2020

Hey, y'all! Starting this thread for those who have applied to the Medical City Nurse Internship starting July 2020. I thought we could keep each other updated :). I applied to Medical City Dallas and interviewed for the BMT and Oncology unit at the Intern Bash. Waiting to hear back, but I saw on the Facebook page that it may be around 2 weeks before we are contacted.

I don't know about Arlington or that unit, but my advice would be confident in yourself and don't be afraid to take a moment to collect your thoughts after a question! It's always better to have a well constructed response than to blurt the first thing that comes to mind LOL. Just be yourself and try to be proud of how you did, regardless of the outcome!

Hi has anyone heard from CC unit in Arlington? I was offered an interview but it didn't work with my schedule, so I am waiting to hear back about scheduling another one.

I'm going to live in Arlington and commute to work. I plan on living on the north side of 30!

Hi when they called you about the job offer did they send you anything to sign ?

Nope, just an email with info about the residency and pay! I declined my other since I received an offer from Children’s Health in Dallas, sorry I wasn’t much help ?

I just got a phone call but nothing else , so that made me nervous. Did they offer y’all a nurse extern position while you wait for your residency to start ?

Before I declined, the recruiter said that official offer letters would go out in June. No need to worry!
