Medical assistants and FL

Does anyone know if medical assistants can operate using standing orders, particularly immunizations?

There are a few places you can check: Your state's medical board [each state has some oversight over your scope of practice and each state may be different]; your office or organization may have written policies for MAs; or you could see if your job description answers your question. Another place to check is with a director or educator at a school for medical assistants. You could probably contact any MA school in your state (find a reputable one), get the email address of the program's director, and ask if you could call that person or if he/she could direct you to the MAs scope of practice in your state.
