Are there any Med/Surge nurses who are interested in Home Health?

I am sure there are. Just curious why do you ask?
Because that specialty of nursing seems like it would go well with Home Health. Especially since healthcare is changing and moving toward care in the home, I'm curious if these nurses are considering a change of practice.

I went into Home Health after 7 1/2 years of Med/Surg (with cross-training & floating to ICU/CCU) in a 99 bed hospital.
I would not have dared to go into HH, as independent as we need to be, without all that experience under my belt. (By that time, I felt like I could handle anything that came my way, & that turned out to be true :)
I forgot to say - I went into Home Health (RN Case Manager in Medicare-certified agencies), after I obtained my BSN, which I obtained while working 7 days/2 weeks in Med/Surg.

It may be something to consider in the future, but I would not feel comfortable doing home health with my level of experience. One person I went to school with started in pediatric home health as a new graduate. That's very scary to me.
