Med Surg ATI

Published

Hello!

I am a current LPN-BSN student and our class is beginning our clinical and medical surgical rotation. I was wondering if anyone has any insight on the ATI med surg test or how to better prepare for it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thank You!

Tat

Have you received your ATI books yet? You can use your ATI Med-Surg book to prepare, also, just do a lot of practice ATI Med-Surg questions via the practice assessments on the ATI site. You could also just review your notes once you start your rotation. Good Luck!

I did the practice assessments for our fundamentals class with most of our class and it definitely was not an indicator of how you would do on the actual test :/ We as a class thought we would have done much better given our scores on the practice tests. I did just purchase the medsurg ATI review book and will try to use that!

Thank You for the response!

Read the book, do the remediation and keep doing the practice tests. I think lots of classes and people do worse than they think but the program is designed to help you write the NCLEX so if you aren't close to being done your program you still will have some areas to learn!

Read the books, honestly, I just skimmed and answered the questions and do the tests. Read the rationales. It honestly was not as bad as I thought. I was shocked that I got a level 3.
