I just got my acceptance letter to the accelerated option. I am a bit confused about certain things. Has anyone started completing the requirements? What is The complio account and where do I find it? Must I take the Covid test?? I truly do not want to ?
congratulations! same, just waiting to accept because I think I rather do full time if I get accepted there. if not ill do accelerated. and yeah im confused about the requirements as well. we have to take some civil literacy exam too I think right?
Congrats! I will say MDC has been no help when it comes to trying to figure out COMPLIO. I have been asking my advisor many questions and she says she doesn’t deal with Complio so to speak with someone from the deans office. And it has all just been a mess for me. Basically it is a program that MDC uses, that gives you a list of compliances you must follow. There’s 17 I believe. You will need to get the flu vaccine, covid (unless submitting a religious or medical exemption), MMRV titers, TB TEST (I did the quantiferon blood test), tetorifice booster, proof of Heb B vaccines, and that should be it for tests. The rest is collecting forms and such. I would get going as soon as possible because both MDC and COMPLIO have been slow at reviewing my submitted documents. My background check has been done since the 3rd of this month and I still don’t have results from MDC.
congratulations to all! I’m going to share a video of an MDC nursing student where she goes over all of what we have to get done before orientation. this video was super helpful to me and helped me understand a little more of what needs to get done. it’s a lot but it helps break it down so we don’t feel overwhelmed ?
@Nursing4ever97 @JulesAshleyy CONGRATULATIONS TO YALL AS WELL!
gosh this is so stressful…. While trying to apply as well, I spent the whole day trying to speak to advisors virtually and most didn’t know what to do to help me… I think I’d have to give a whole day to drive to the school and figure it out ..
@mayat thanks a bunch for the video

Yes I’m still confused too about the extension. And a little shocked they didn’t send out an email or anything letting students know. I’m sure there are a bunch of students who would have shot for a better TEAS score givin the proper communication
