MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Thanks for the info @jessy89. I also plan on doing my physicals there. Hopefully there is not a long wait.

I always went after 5 because I work during the day and only once I waited for no more than 5 mins, the other two days I didn't even sit down. You will probably get there and still see my name on the sign in sheet lol. Hope is the same way for you , for these things you always want to get things done right and as quick as possible because there is so much to do.

Just to clarify things. I just called the Nursing Dept. and spoke to someone about the CPR card. I have a CPR/AED card issued by the AHA (BLS for Healthcare Providers). This card is fine. This is what I was told.

I have the same CPR card and I was also told this one is fine. Do you know if we can fax it to them or do we have to personally deliver it to them?

Can anyone tell me what exactly comes in the $100 nurse pack we need to buy? Also what else is a necessity?

Can anyone tell me what exactly comes in the $100 nurse pack we need to buy? Also what else is a necessity?

When I bought the nursing pack the other day, the cashier took out a sheet of paper with a checklist of items and then took out everything that was in the bag. She then put each item in one by one while you check off the items on the list to confirm that it had everything in it.

I can't remember the items on the list, it was just nursing stuff that I guess we'll use, mask, scissors, and a bunch of iv stuff.
