Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for applicants of the nursing program at Miami Dade College for Fall term 2017. I'm currently working on my last prerequisites and will be finished this semester. I plan on taking the HESI A2 in January and applying for the Generic and Part time tracks.
This wasn't my first time applying to the nursing program. In the Spring/2016 i applied to the Full-time Generic Option, and i was one of the first to get accepted. I had a 73.4 HESI score and a 3.8 Science GPA and that is what i am going to use to apply to this term as well. Don't get nervous or worried the average HESI Score is in the 70's range. Majority of the applicants will have a HESI Score in the 70's range. The Applicants with an 80 or 90's range HESI scores there are a few in number at least 40% of the available
seats (Generic FT and PT, Accelerated, and Traditional) at the most. Remember the Competitive Score is what counts, not the HESI score alone.
