Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for applicants of the nursing program at Miami Dade College for Fall term 2017. I'm currently working on my last prerequisites and will be finished this semester. I plan on taking the HESI A2 in January and applying for the Generic and Part time tracks. :laugh:

I called and they said emails should be going out either this week or next week.

They apparently don't know what to answer when we call because I just called and they said at the end of this month!

I called earlier today and they also said mid - late june. I believe that they keep pushing the date back in hopes we stop calling as frequent. I know people who call everyday 2-3 times a day. Think about it, everyone is always posting saying "I called today and..." (myself included) lmao. I dont know i might be wrong but I still feel that acceptances will be send out no later than next week.

I agree. I think we've been a pain in the butt and they're just saying end of the month just because. Today was the first time I called but if everyone that applied calls once, that's a lot of phone calls.

no guys. That would be stupid. Create more confusion by telling people a bunch of different dates? That would cause even more calls. I don't think that's on purpose. Something may be going on and that's why they have uncertain dates/thinking of pushing the dates back. We'll just have to be on edge all month long aparently

Honestly its a possibility. As much as we would like to believe they wouldnt do that on purpose... its MDC. The same school who hires untrained people (most of the time students) to work front desk jobs at admission, advisement, financial aid etc. Thats why everyone always complains that MDC is a mess and they arent organized. I know for sure there has been a time you (and all of us) have gone to the school for something and said "ughh they are so rude... or unhelpful". Lolololol i brought up that answer because i know the two girls that work at north advisement office and they always complain about the amount of phone calls they get for the same question and end up giving vague answers like "by the end of the month" "mid month". Sounds alot like medical campus answer hahahaha

I strongly believe that email will starting going out between this week and next week.

So I was talking to a current student who started last year full time generic and she said she didn't receive her letter until The beginning of July last year. So basically I will check every other day until July because checking multiple times a day is nerve wrecking and I can't handle being on my phone all day freaking out over it. Good luck everyone.
