MD RN License Renewal

Anyone know the process? Do we need CEUs? I read something about not needing it but a refresher course is required?? I just graduated about 3 years ago. My license will expire in 4 days. It is an endorsement license.

I don’t think you do. From the MDBON Renewal Application:

Quote

Have you practiced nursing at least 1000 hours or graduated from a Nursing Education Program or completed 30 CEUs in the last 5 years (certificates of completion must be attached if you are using CEU credits to renew)?

If No, have you completed a Board approved refresher course?

I successfully renewed my license. Thanks!

Hi I'm in the process of renewing my license as well. On the credentials page where it asks you which license you want to renew we just need to choose active and ignore the advanced practice options below that option? My RN license will still be renewed even though it's not listed in those  options? Thanks.

Yes, unless you have an advanced nursing license such as NP license? Choose the current license that you are planning to renew.
