MD Anderson Summer Residency 2014 Thread

This is to organize the questions and keep people updated. I applied mid February and did the assessment 2 days after. I have not heard of anything since then.

Congratulations and good luck Delgadido!

Have any out-of-state applicants heard anything? @texasbred, did the people you know already have a phone interview?

Thanks!

They said the person that contacted them did an "interview" before scheduling the panel interview.

and the lady isnt answering after i left a voicemail X_X. i was literally in the middle of the jungle when she called... i got signal 3 hours after that

Oh that sucks; it's already nerve wrecking to be waiting on the initial call; but to get the call and not be able to get the Rep on the phone has to be torture. Hopefully they call before they leave for the weekend!

Hey everyone! I turned in my application on Feb 28 and did the assessment thing the following week. I'm still waiting for a call >

Has anyone applied to other hospitals? Heard anything yet? The only place I heard back so far was Memorial Hermann. I applied to TCH, methodist, md anderson, st. lukes, harris county health system, and memorial hermann.

I've applied to those hospitals as well. Got an offer from Methodist - CGPA was fine but when the recruiter calculated the courses considered for employment it fell right below the requirement. Haven't heard anything from the others.

Did you interview with Memorial Hermann? If so how did that go?

When did you apply for methodist? I haven't heard anything from them :/ I applied on Feb 28 but I recently updated my resume so I re-applied again.

I actually just heard from MH last friday. She left a vmail saying that she got a few questions for me. I called back and it was a phone interview, which I didnt expect at all. But I think I did fine. She said to look for her email for an in-person interview in mid April.

It was back in February

how did everyone's interview(s) go??

I'm out of state and had a video interview. It was weird because I was not able to see the interviewers but other than that, it went well. It was short and they asked easier questions compared to some other interviews I have had.

Anyone know when we are supposed to hear back?
