Hi everyone,
I received an interview for the MD Anderson Clinical Nurse Residency Program starting hopefully mid-March. I'm incredibly nervous because this is my first call back.
Anybody have any tips on... How the interviews are conducted? How many are interviewed? What units at the hospital are available to work in? And did anybody else get an interview?
Thanks!
Hi, everyone. I've been lurking around this thread for a while and am anxious to hear back! I was also told to expect an offer on August 2nd but then was told to wait until this coming Friday as they are still working on assignments. Has anyone heard anything else? I also applied for their OR residency and had the panel interview for that yesterday. I hope I get offers for both so that I have a selection to choose from.
The OR panel was much harder than the GN panel. They kept me on my toes! It's the first interview I've had in which I wasn't quite sure how I did. There were 5 people on the panel. As far as the questions, they asked SO MANY. I estimate it was between 15-20 questions and I don't even really remember what they were. I just remember thinking that there was no way for me to have prepared sufficiently for that. I will say that they definitely do have your resume and letter of intent in front of them and will ask you questions from them. I wish I could be of more help but my head was almost spinning after that interview.
hi eeburrah! im in the same boat as you waiting to get our assignments. im having problems waiting til friday to hear! haha.. was hoping they might call earlier in the week. have you heard anything yet? which areas did you request?
hi! nothing so far... and neither has my friend. i requested p10 (where i did my clinicals), pedi or women's services. i hope they call earlier although i probably won't be able to make a decision until i hear back from the OR recruiter.
