MD. Anderson Residency Program (Houston, TX)-Spring 2012

Just called MD.Anderson HR this morning about the residency program for spring 2012, I was told that phone screen will take place in next couple of days. She said she will email me if I am on the calling list. It seems that they alreasy made dicision for whom will to be called. Well, I will call them again this afternoon, waiting is the hardest part.

Does anyone know what question they going to ask on the phone? How to be prepared for the phone screen:confused:? This residency program is my dream job. I am so nervous right now:uhoh21:. Any response will be highly appreciated! Thank you.

Yan258, the panel interview is held by the managers/directors of the hiring floors. Im not exactly sure how it works since I don't know anybody who had gone through this interviewing process, but I am sure the purpose is to impress at least one of the three managers interviewing in order to get a spot on their floors! I know that in the first inteview they asked me what floor i'd be interested in so not sure if they take that into consideration when they choose what managers will be interviewing each candidate.

Congrats to everyone who got invited for a second interview! I have mine tomorrow with the panel. I asked my friend who is currently in the GN program said the panel interview is the same as the first one. They ask basically the same questions. Hope this helps!

ARiz88, the only recommendation I cant give you, is stay calm....the panel interview consists pretty much of the same questions from interview 1 only that this time it will be several nursing managers/directors interviewing!! Be charming and no worries, you'll do great! Good luck!!
