I also try to apply for Long Term Acute Care Hospitals in houston area, Do you know what hospitals take GN, and what hospitals accept walk in application? Thank you.

There is a opening for GN residency program on MDA website right now. The program will start in March, 2012 if hired. I graduated in Aug. 2011, and they told me it was ok for me to apply.

Hi Newnurse88, Were you asked about your floor or unit preference when you applied for it? I was not asked for my preference. Or candidates will be asked after interview?

Hi Cindyrella, How is the residency program in Md Anderson? I just applied the program for spring 2012. The hospital website says phone screening will first take place. What kind of questions they asked you on the phone? Do you know what floor the new hirers are going to for spring 2012? Thank you so much.

Nursing Internships June 2012
I also applied the Md Anderson residency program for the spring 2012. It is my dream to get into this program. I pray for it every day. Well, I do not have any nursing related experiences, such as CNA experiences. Just wondering do those nursing related experiences really count for consideration? Does anyone know if applications are selected, what unit or floor they are going to? Does anyone know who or what committe in charge of the residency program? Thank you so much!
