MD Anderson PSNE 2019

Hi!! Has anybody else applied for the MD Anderson PSNE? Also, anyone who has already gone through the program, what enhances your chances? My GPA is a 3.73 I have received numerous awards and scholarships but my work experience is definitely lacking. My service includes experience at wounds clinics out of the country and numerous other experiences, but paid work is lacking.

@nolanurseforever I was contacted by a recruiter asking to do a phone interview, did you ever have this? Do you remember any of the questions asked of you through the interviews? Also, what do you think helped you get past the first round of interviews? Thank you for your help!

I did not do a phone interview. Just an online video interview and a face to face. The first interview I think was a little easier. Kinda like why you want to be a nurse/participate in the externship etc...I think. The second interview was a little more difficult because it was scenario based questions like “what would you do if a patient xyz” or “tell me about a time that you were taking care of a patient and xyz” I can’t remember the exact questions tho

Hi there,

This is not really a related question, but I recently got accepted to the PSNE program this Summer and I was thinking to get a private place to stay during the program. Is there anyone who would like to share a place or know any place that allows us to stay for 10 weeks and around 20 minutes away from MD Anderson? I would really appreciate it.

Hi friends, has anyone applied for the Summer 2021 PSNE? Might make a separate thread for it. I know applications just closed last week but I’m already super nervous!

I'm so sorry but I actually didn't make it into the program so I didn't start a new thread! But yes if you're looking for more information for the 2021 round I think it would be a good idea to start a new thread. Best of luck!

Hi. I saw you applied for the PSNE program and was curious if you had any insight. I'm currently in the final round of interviews.

Hi. I saw that you were in the PSNE program. Did you have any feedback on the program?
