MD Anderson PSNE 2019

Hi!! Has anybody else applied for the MD Anderson PSNE? Also, anyone who has already gone through the program, what enhances your chances? My GPA is a 3.73 I have received numerous awards and scholarships but my work experience is definitely lacking. My service includes experience at wounds clinics out of the country and numerous other experiences, but paid work is lacking.

Mine is still saying same date I submitted the application and Submission Status still "Application received". Thanks for the update!!!! Hopefully we hear some answer soon.

I’m freaking out. Do you think completed means I’m out of consideration? I feel stupid thinking that’s potentially what it means but I get myself so worked up over everything lol

Same!! I'm panicking as well. I don't know if that is good or bad. It is different from each healthcare organization.

Hi! Did anyone get a call with an offer from MD Anderson for the externship? I got a call on monday! If y'all did, what kind of options are yall looking at for housing? (if you're not from houston lol) I was looking at trying to sublease an apartment but all the prices are so high since I'd only be renting the place for a few months! I might look into airbnb!

Did anybody on here apply for the program this year? Anybody from previous years know what to expect in terms of how long to wait/what the interview process is like?

@badgernurse2 I also applied for the PSNE program for this summer! I do not know too much about the interview/timeline process.

@badgernurse2, yes! So i unfortunately did not get an offer but the process was a little long. After applying I received an email asking me to consent to a background check a few weeks later. Once that was done I was invited to do an online interview. This prompted me with specific questions and I had to record myself answering the questions and then upload the videos(awkward but gotta do what you gotta do) after that, I was invited for a face to face interview. I received my rejection shortly after my face-to-face interview. I don’t remember the exact time line of all the interviews but i do remember getting inpatient.
